Britney Spears she may not be interested in reuniting with her father, James Spearsbut the same doesn’t apply to his two teenage children… who are planning to visit their grandfather after years of being apart.
Sources with direct knowledge tell Vscek… Britney and Kevin FederlineThe boys of — Sean Preston AND Hi Jayden — recently discussed a trip to visit their grandfather, who lives in Louisiana.
We’re told the boys keep in touch with Jamie frequently… and have phone calls with him at least once every 2 weeks. However, SP and Jayden haven’t seen Jamie in person in years.
In addition to Jamie, the boys will want to see other relatives in Louisiana. To be clear, this is all part of the early discussions and there is no specific timetable for when the trip will take place.
Jamie was also once at odds with Kevin, Sean Preston and Jayden… with JS even being hit by a restraining order after a troubling incident with SP in 2019. However, sources tell us Kevin and Jamie are now on good terms… and both want the best for the boys.
We’re told K-Fed and the boys decided to show Jamie some love after discovering his serious health issues in 2023… where a serious infection led to his amputated leg.
It’s unclear whether Britney is aware of her children’s plans. We imagine the visit might not go down well with Britney, who has been vocal about her estrangement from Jamie.
Remember, after Britney’s very public meltdown in 2007, JS stepped in and took control of his daughter’s life by becoming her guardian. While the guardianship was originally supposed to be temporary, it lasted about 13 years before packaged in November 2021.
Britney has been very critical of Jamie’s handling of her conservatorship… accusing her father of abuse and mistreatment. They engaged in a legal battle and eventually reached a settlement. Jamie didn’t pay Britney a cent, but she ended up paying his $2 million legal fee.
