In this episode, Switch code Co-hosts BA Parker and Gene Demby chat with comedian Arif Shahid, who performs under the name Felonious Munk, about what it means to him to publicly bring up this reference to his felony conviction. Then, Gene talks to Josie Duffy-Rice, a writer who covers the criminal justice system, to examine the ways in which “felon” sticks with people long after their sentence is over.
