Swimmer Luana Alonso Kicked Out of Olympic Village for ‘Inappropriate’ Behavior | 2024 Olympics

After reports emerged that the Paraguayan swimmer would be sent home from the 2024 Paris Olympics for allegedly “creating an inappropriate atmosphere” within her country’s delegation, Luana has denied the allegations.
“I just wanted to clarify that I have never been removed or kicked out of anywhere, stop spreading false information,” the 20-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story on Aug. 5, as translated by E! News. “I don’t want to make any statements, but I won’t let lies affect me.”
Luana’s denial comes just one day after several media outlets reported that the Paraguayan Olympic Committee had asked her to leave the Olympic Village.
