here it is Lively Blake channeling Britney Spears at the premiere of her film… with a tribute to one of the singer’s most iconic looks.
Blake turned heads at the “It Ends With Us” premiere in New York City on Tuesday… wearing a one-shoulder Versace gown previously worn by Britney herself.
The tribute to Britney comes hot on the heels of news that Britney’s bestselling autobiographical novel is being turned into a biopic.
As we first reported… Britney had the last word on who plays her in the film… which makes Blake’s style choice even more interesting.
Before Blake, Britney wore this elegant dress way back in 2002, during a Versace fashion show in Milan, Italy.
Blake said Extra the dress means a lot to her because Britney meant a lot to her as she embodied love, beauty, youth, hard work, determination, strength, sexuality and softness.
And get this… Blake says that when the dress became available she knew she had to have it and thought about it for 6 months waiting for the perfect moment to pull it out of her closet.
Blake even mentions Britney’s next movie… so, at least at first glance, it would seem like she’s in the running for a role.
