Reese Witherspoon hit the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet with a special date: her eldest son Deacon Phillippe
Reese Witherspoon is mourning the loss of her precious little dog.
THE Legally Blonde star—who shares children Ava24, Deacon20 with ex Ryan Phillippe as well as Tennessee11, with ex Jim Toth—said his family lost one of their older pets.
“We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank,” Reese wrote in an Instagram Story on Aug. 6. “Thank you for being the best family pet and pack leader.”
In addition to Reese’s note, Ava shared her thoughts on the loss of the family dog.
“14 and a half years of pure love and constant tail wagging,” the 24-year-old wrote in her Aug. 6 Instagram post. “Work was the ‘family pet’ and he excelled at it. Thank you Hanky for reminding us that every day is the best day ever.”
Reese’s ex, Jim, also commented on Ava’s post with a red heart emoji, adding, “He took great care of us.”
The Witherspoon family, especially matriarch Reese, is known for their love of pets. After all, Reese often shares photos with her dogs, including Labrador Major and bulldog Minnie Pearl, as well as the late Hank.
