Michelle Obama course to Simone Bilesdefense Tuesday … praising her for bowing to her competitor on the Olympic podium this week, just hours after an NFL star called the act “disgusting.”
Biles, along with her Team USA teammate, Jordanian Chillies — he bent his knee to Rebecca Andrade after the Brazilian’s victory in Paris on Monday in the floor exercise… and in the Baltimore Ravens’ corner Marlon Humphrey he was pissed off about it.
As images of Biles and Chiles kneeling with their arms raised toward Andrade circulated on X… the three-time Pro Bowler wrote: “This is literally disgusting.”
But it seems Obama couldn’t have disagreed more… as the former First Lady took to her Page X to applaud the gymnasts for the move.
“I still haven’t gotten over this beautiful moment of sisterhood and sportsmanship!” she said on the social media app about 24 hours after Humphrey He published his critique.
“You can just feel the love coming from these women. Congratulations Rebeca, Jordan and Simone!”

For her part, Biles defended her actions, which initially drew some backlash online… saying she was simply trying to support her fellow competitors and give them “their flowers” when they earned them.
“She had the best floor routine that day, the best floor routine of the Olympics,” Biles said. “So it’s like, yeah, she deserved it.”
As for Humphrey, he was widely panned for his criticism, and things got so bad for him that he wrote in a subsequent post: “I’m being cooked under my breath right now.”
