If you have seen the photos of Kim Yong-un As he struts his stuff at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, don’t panic: It’s just a lookalike causing all this chaos!
An Australian music producer, known as Howard X on X, he is famous for his second job as North Korean dictator… and he has struck again, making a spectacular entrance to applaud North Korea Pang Chol-mi while fighting China Changyuan in the women’s boxing semi-finals.
Howard was also seen waving the North Korean flag… and launched a bold attack on the Chinese leader Xi Jinping flaunting a Winnie the Pooh teddy bear last Sunday. ICYDK, the character has been banned in China due to satirical comparisons to Xi.
Howard documented his antics on X… making it abundantly clear that he was mocking the North Korean delegation, despite having angered North Korean officials 6 years earlier by doing the same thing at the PyeongChang Winter Games.
Chinese onlookers burst out laughing when they saw him with the Winnie the Pooh teddy bear… so apparently no one was offended, at least in Paris.
Howard’s presence didn’t change Pang’s fortunes, as he lost to Chang. But that wasn’t the end of it: he was also seen at North Korea’s table tennis match against Japan, and even teamed up with a Vladimir Putin lookalike for a photo in front of Notre Dame Cathedral.
Howard appears to be unafraid of Kim, who has been linked to numerous brutal acts, including ordering the assassination of her half-brother in 2017, Kim Jong Nam.
The moral of the story is that it’s all fun and games, until it’s not.
