PDC Women’s Series: Noa-Lynn van Leuven shocks Beau Greaves to win Event 15 title in Niedernhausen | Darts News

Dutch player Noa-Lynn van Leuven shocked Beau Greaves by winning Event 15 of the PDC Women’s Series in Niedernhausen, Germany on Sunday.

Van Leuven stopped Greaves’ comeback, finishing with a dramatic 5-4 victory to secure her third Women’s Series title of 2024.

Van Leuven started her tournament with a 4-1 victory over Anca Zijlstra, and then defeated Gemma Hayter, Aileen de Graaf, Robyn Byrne and Rhian O’Sullivan to reach the final.

She took a 4-0 lead before nerves took over, allowing ‘Beau ‘n’ Arrow’ to fight back and send the game to a decisive shootout.

Speaking on the Love The Darts podcast, Glen Durrant says the PDPA is ensuring Noa-Lynn van Leuven is addressing the “horrific” criticism she is receiving for competing as a transgender player.

But Van Leuven kept his cool when it mattered most: getting a famous win in Germany.

Greaves previously averaged 100.48, defeating Fallon Sherrock 4-1 to reach the quarter-finals.
