Twisters Breaks World Box Office Record

The tornadoes has crossed a major milestone at the global box office. The new film, starring Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos, is a standalone sequel to the 1996 blockbuster disaster film Tornado which follows a scientist who teams up with a daredevil storm chaser and his team to test a new tracking device. The tornadoes At the box office, it debuted with a strong opening weekend gross of $81 million and the film quickly rose to prominence, becoming one of the 10 highest-grossing films of the year so far.

For Varietystarting from Sunday morning, The tornadoes was projected to gross another $15.4 million at the domestic box office by the end of its fourth weekend in theaters. When the weekend’s projected international gross was added to that tally, This brought the overall expected worldwide total to $310 million.. This easily pushes the film past the $300 million mark, making it the ninth release of 2024 to surpass that particular financial milestone so far, behind Deadpool and Wolverine.
