Watch the video… it’s not clear what exactly happened, but it looks like there was a dispute over whether Ayesha and her baby, Caio Chaithey were allowed to reach their car… which seemed to be stuck in traffic because of the French president Emmanuel Macron leaving the area.
Apparently, little Caius got caught up in the chaos and was hit on the head by someone at the scene… which prompted an emotional response from Ayesha and Steph’s mum, Sonia.
Steph’s teammate at the Golden State Warriors Draymond Green he was there… and was also heard lashing out at the authorities, saying… “So, even after you hit the kid in the head, there’s still nothing you can do to get him out of here?”

Of course, it’s no surprise that Draymond supported Curry… Steph and DG have been teammates for years.
But the French authorities seemed unmoved by their pleas, maintaining their position that the family should remain where they were.
Before the clash, the Currys were on cloud nine.
Steph was a key factor in Team USA’s victory over France, earning Curry, LeBron James and the rest of the stars a gold medal. The 2-time NBA MVP got going in the closing moments of the close game, hitting 4 three-pointers when the USA was in desperate need of baskets.
A sad way to end an otherwise happy Olympic experience.
