The first big act was French indie band Phoenix, who performed their smash hit, “Lisztomania,” as athletes surrounded the stage. The band then teamed up with Kavinsky for a rendition of the holiday anthem, “Nightcall.”
Then it was time for the big headliners: Billie Eilish, Snoop Doggand the Red Hot Chili Peppers, all performing on a Los Angeles beach… as the proverbial torch was passed to Los Angeles, host city of the next Summer Games in 2028.

The brother-sister musical duo proudly showed their support for Team USA, sporting plenty of red, white and blue as they sang on the lifeguard stage.
