In fact, that’s part of the reason why Lola, who graduated from New York University in 2023 and has since turned her full attention to the music industry, accompanied her mother to the ceremony.

Lola, whose covers of songs like “Espresso” on social media have earned her a legion of fans clamoring for more, released a new single “Roles” earlier this year.
