Here’s what Vscek TV producers watched during the recovery and what’s expected for the next session.

Inflation in the US

  • Two days of key data begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. ET with the producer price index, which looks at inflation on the wholesale side of the equation. Economists expect the number to have risen 0.2% in July from a month earlier.
  • We’ll get the Consumer Price Index (CPI) on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
  • THE S&P 500 Index has fallen more than 5% from its July 16 high.
  • THE Stock market listing has fallen about 10% from its July 10 high.
  • THE Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen about 5% from its July 18 high.

Gold

Home storage

  • The DIY (and more) giant publishes its quarterly numbers before the bell rings.
  • The stock is unchanged from the last report released three months ago.
  • Home storage is 13% from the stock’s peak in March.

  • The automaker will announce July orders and deliveries tomorrow morning.
  • The stock is down about 10% since its last report a month ago.
  • The Boeing is down 38.6% from its 52-week high in December.

Nvidia’s recovery

  • Seema Mody will report on By Nvidia recent move.
  • The stock rose 4.1% today and 8.5% in five sessions.
  • Nvidia remains one step away from its 52-week high reached on June 20.

  • Half is 5% from the July 8 high.
  • Apple is up 8.3% from its July 15 high.
  • Microsoft is 13% from the July 5 high.
  • Alphabet is 15.3% from the July 10 high.
  • Amazon is 17% from the July 8 high.
  • Tesla is 29% from the high of September 15.

Tesla vs China

  • Vscek’s Eunice Yoon, who reports from China, will be looking at Tesla’s Chinese competitors tomorrow.
  • All the largest ones have decreased in August, in the last month and in the last three months.
  • The Cars has fallen 27% in three months; the stock is down 58% from its February 27 high.
  • Turn off It has fallen 25% in a month and 67% from its September 1 high.
  • REALLY fell 13% in a month, 17% below its 52-week high.
  • Zeekr It has fallen 26% in a month and is down 55% from its May 13 high.
  • Ninth has fallen 26% in three months and is down 71% from its 52-week high nearly a year ago.

Deposits 13F

  • Vscek will track the stocks that the country’s biggest financiers are buying and selling. The 13F filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which makes those disclosures, begin tomorrow.
  • A document that many pay attention to is that of Warren Buffett Berkshire Hathaway Consulting Firm.
  • BRK.A is up 19% so far in 2024 and 4% in three months.
