Djokovic is the reigning US Open champion, having won his fourth title at Flushing Meadows and his most recent Slam success there last year.

Who are the big names performing in Cincinnati?

Alcaraz returns to hard courts after winning the Olympic silver medal on clay at Roland Garros.

The reigning French Open and Wimbledon champion is ranked second and will therefore enter the men’s singles in the second round, where he will face either Gael Monfils or Alexei Popyrin.

If he were to win that match, Alcaraz could find himself facing Rune Holger in the third round, with the Danish No. 15 seed starting against the former Wimbledon finalist Matthew Berrettini in a record-breaking first-round match.

Alcaraz could then potentially face Draper in the quarter-finals, after the Briton prevailed 7-6 6-3 in their last meeting at the Queen’s Club earlier this summer.
