After announcing the birth of his second child with his wife Linda Phan in June, Brothers of property star Designed by Scott shares some pretty cute details about the little lady’s impact on her beloved 2-year-old older brother, Parker. In an exclusive interview with Collider ahead of IOU celebrity Season 8 premieres August 12, Scott admits that while he’s having a “summer of a brat” with a “beautiful glow,” a lot of it is due to his new family of four’s dynamic, especially with their young children. Scott reveals how Parker is not only the best big brother, but also the former single son who didn’t know what to expect from his little sister.

Drew Scott Shares Details on Parker and Piper’s New Sibling Dynamic
“He was a little nervous at first. He didn’t know what to expect. It was almost like he thought she was going to hurt him or something, and then he was getting a little jealous,” Scott says. “‘Who is this girl taking up my time? I’m the most important person in this house.'” Now it’s to the point where it seems like he just wants to spend every minute with her.. He wants to rub against her and kiss her hand or her head and cuddle her and stuff. It’s really adorable to see them together.”
With Scott being the younger brother of the twins Jonathan Scott and their older brother Written by JD ScottYoung Scott admits that he is It’s really nice to see the family dynamics expand and grow with his two children.. “I know what it was like having JD and Jonathan growing up. I loved having brothers, and Jonathan and Zooey have two kids. They know what it’s like to have brothers. It can be the best time and the worst time,” she says. “Linda’s sisters have kids too, and you see them love each other, hate each other, love each other. So now with them, especially with two years between them, I think it’s going to help them. I hope it’ll help them bond and be closer as they grow.”

As Jonathan jokes, it’s all “less cute when [Drew] he “rubs” it, admits that he really does it too loves to see his kids and girlfriend Zooey Deschanel play together. We were at our parents’ house the other day, and Drew and Linda were there with their kids. Our kids love little kids, so they were with Parker and they were drawing pictures for him. It was actually really funny because Charlie, our 7-year-old, loves breakdancing, and so he would do a move, and then Parker would do the move and do the same thing. It was really funny.”
Scott admits it was “so adorable,” and adds that Charlie and his sister Elsie, were teaching Parker to dance. “Charlie’s pretty good at break dancing, and Parker lies on the floor and wriggles. But there’s synchronized swimming for the Olympics; Linda came into the room and synchronized swimming was on TV, and Parker, you know when they’re underwater and they’re kicking their legs up, Parker was on his back in sync and doing the exact same thing with his legs that they were doing. It was the funniest thing.”
What is Jonathan Scott like as a father and uncle?
As the executive producer and co-founder of Scott Brothers Global envisions the “2036 Olympics with these kids,” he says there is no clear difference between “Jonathan the dad” and “Jonathan the uncle”“thanks in part to his… face? “Well, I’m a very immature adult, just so you know, so I get along really well with kids. There’s something, I don’t know what it is if it’s just my face or my eyebrows, Parker thinks I’m fun.”
Scott supports this claim, claiming that his older twin is “the funniest person on the planet.” Jonathan goes on to say that their kids are pretty much the same and that he is a “joker” with all of them. “You know how with kids, they’ll do something funny and if you laugh, they’ll do it 400 times more. I’m fine with the other 400 times. I just let them do it. At a certain point, they tell me I need to be more serious. ‘Time’s up. Let’s be serious and make plans to leave.'”
Fortunately, with the Brothers of propertyIt’s never like that, as Scott refutes his twin’s statement: “Whoever told you that, doesn’t know anything. A big baby all his life.”
