Boxer Tommy Fury announces split from social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague | Boxing News

Boxer Tommy Fury has announced his split from social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague just over a year after their engagement.

The couple met on a 2019 episode of ITV2 reality show Love Island and welcomed their only child, a baby girl called Bambi, in January last year.

Less than an hour after Hague announced their split, Fury posted another Instagram post saying he was “heartbroken” over the end of their relationship.

The split comes just three weeks after Hague called Fury “the love of my life,” sharing a video on Instagram marking exactly one year since they proposed.

Sharing the news of the split, Hague wrote: “Never ever thought I’d have to write something like this.

“After five years together, I never imagined that our story would end, especially not in this way.

“I am extremely sad to announce that my relationship with Tommy has come to an end.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me, now and always: my beautiful daughter.

“Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the past five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it is only right to share this with all of you.

“As I navigate the next few days and weeks, please respect my privacy at this difficult time, I will return when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

Fury wrote in his post: “It breaks my heart to share with you that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.

“The last five years have led to the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will forever be grateful to Molly for making me a dad.

“Bambi is our priority.

“Please respect our privacy and that of our families as we navigate this difficult time.”

The couple recently starred in the Netflix reality series At Home with the Furies along with Fury’s half-brother and fellow boxer, Tyson Fury.
