When Mauricio made his debut on Dancing with the StarsKyle was in the ballroom to support him and his partner Emma Slater while performing a jive.
And Kyle took his support a step further, detailing how to vote for Mauricio on his Instagram Story.
After the Unmanned transport Ahead of the event, Mauricio provided an update on the status of their marriage.
“We were just dealing with our own stuff, kind of, very quietly and internally, just our own issues,” she explained on the Sept. 28 episode of The Agency’s Red microphone podcast. “I mean, certainly, we’re not separated. We’re not divorced at this point. We’re none of that. We’re still dealing with our marriage.”
The 53-year-old said he was grateful that nearly three decades had passed without ever encountering marital problems.
“It’s been a great 26 years and a tough year,” she said. “Kyle and I are lucky because we’ve had 26 years where we haven’t had a bad year, and I know most marriages have bad months, bad weeks, bad years.”
Mauricio then addressed rumors that he and Kyle staged their split to gain publicity.
“I’m not going to destroy my life to put a plant in the newspapers so people can have more fun,” he said, insisting that he was “not that smart or that devious.”
