The two doctors accused in relation to Matthew PerryThey are under investigation by the California State Medical Board, but their licenses have not been suspended… at least not yet.
Dr. Mark Chavez AND Dr. Salvador Plasencia are the two doctors accused of illegally conspiring to supply ketamine to the late “Friends” star.
The state medical board told Vscek that it is aware of the criminal charges against Dr. Chavez and Dr. Plasencia and is investigating the matter.
In the meantime, the Board has informed us that both doctors’ medical licenses remain active… and that no disciplinary action has been taken against them.

As we reported… Chavez has already make a deal with prosecutors, pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine.
Dr. Chavez admitted selling the drug to Dr. Plasencia and prosecutors say he obtained the ketamine by writing fake prescriptions.
Investigators say Dr. Plasencia, an emergency room physician, frequently injected Matthew with large doses of ketamine… even administering the drug at Perry’s home.
Dr. Plasencia is charged with conspiracy to distribute ketamine, distribution of ketamine resulting in death, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and tampering with and falsifying records relating to a federal investigation. He has pleaded not guilty.
