After revealing The one from Fortnite The Marvel-themed “Absolute Doom” season kicked off last weekend, with Epic Games officially kicking off the season Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 sharing a ton of details about what to expect when you land on the island in battle royale mode. Spoiler: There’s a lot of Doctor Doom.
As previously revealed, the Absolute Doom Battle Pass will include a variety of heroes and villains for you to earn, such as War Machine, Gwenpool, and of course, Doctor Doom himself. (Timely!) But the battle royale island will also have Doom-themed locations for you to visit, such as the city of Doomstadt and Castle Doom, where you can find Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets to use as weapons. Doom’s Gauntlets aren’t the only Marvel-themed weapons available, though; you can also find Captain America’s shield, which is returning from a Final-2019 themed mode.
This is actually The one from Fortnite second Marvel-themed season; the previous one, which launched in August 2020, featured characters like Iron Man, Storm, and another version of Doctor Doom in its battle pass. If you didn’t get the outfits in that battle pass, Epic will no longer offer them, but thankfully, Epic is changing that policy starting with the Absolute Doom pass.
