Reporter Kjersti Flaa says Lively BlakeThe drama “It Ends With Us” is not in his plans, or at least it wasn’t when he uploaded their awkward interview; instead, he insists that it was pure coincidence.
We spoke to Kjersti after his exploding video …and shared further details about the tense conversation, and made it clear he had no ulterior motives when he posted the interview online.

Most viewers of the viral clip assumed that Kjersti posted the 8-year-old exchange in response to Blake’s “It Ends With Us.” drama with co-star and director Justin Baldoni …but she says she was more innocent than that.
The journalist tells us that she decided to publish the unpleasant chat after a friend, also a journalist, had to face a similar confrontation with another celebrity. Kjersti notes that these embarrassing situations happen more often than you might think and she thought that by publishing the interview she could prevent it from happening in the future.
The super uncomfortable 2016 meeting with Blake and Mr. Parker Posey — during the “Cafe Society” media tour — shows Blake shunning Kjersti for making an innocuous congratulatory comment about her baby bump.
Kjersti says she doesn’t personally know anything about the Blake-Justin situation, but considering the actress’s behavior towards her… she says it could indicate that Blake is difficult to work with, on set or during an interview.
She still doesn’t understand why the pregnancy comment irked Blake… and added: “I find it a little offensive that he said that to me. It was weird behavior for me.”
While Kjersti is open to an apology from Blake, she isn’t holding her breath. It’s been nearly a decade.
Kjersti interviewed Blake again a couple of years after their disastrous chat, and everything went smoothly, which is probably because BL didn’t remember her.
