If Dark matter season 2 gets the green light from Apple TV+, the continuation of the story must explain a potential hole in the franchise’s canon, as it’s an issue that was never addressed in the source material. Based on a 2016 novel of the same name by Blake Crouch, Apple TV+ has made many tasteful changes and additions to the Dark matter book, but it didn’t solve a nagging mystery.
