British YouTube star and influencer Luke Goodwin He died after battling a rare cancer.
Luke passed away peacefully at home on August 2nd, with his family by his side… his wife, Beaksannounced in a video on YouTube.
Known for his popular YouTube channel, “I Will Not Be Defeated,” Luke was diagnosed in August 2022 with stage 4 leiomyosarcoma… a rare type of cancer that, according to the Mayo Clinic, begins in smooth muscle tissue and then spreads to normal body tissue.
Luke was told his cancer was terminal: he would live for another two years, undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy.
When he posted his latest YouTube video on July 18, Luke revealed that his cancer was getting worse… “It’s been really f**king hard… I’ve never felt anything different. I’ve been short of breath, sick, phlegm, and so on.”
Luke’s final video was ominously titled, “End of life. Feels like death is upon me…” He died 15 days after its release.
He leaves behind his wife and two children… 5 years Taylor and 3 years Scarlett.
Luke was only 35 years old.
