Sara continued, “I just crave really deep, hard conversations. And I think because I’ve avoided hard conversations my whole life, I’m like, ‘If you’re here to have a chat, you’re out. You’re out.’ I have to go deep or we’re not going to go deep.”
Justin’s wife, Emily Baldonithen she weighed in, too. “I want to step in and support you on your journey,” she said. “I call it pruning. And when you’re on such a deep journey in your life and you’re changing, unfortunately we have to prune so many people and situations out of our lives.
She continued, “Sure, there’s a loving way to do it. But there’s going to be so many people who won’t keep you in the place that you’re in. And it’s really important to be able to set those boundaries.”
