Actress Yerin Ha chosen for the role of Benedict’s love interest

What about Francesca Bridgerton?

Francesca Bridgerton (By Hannah Dodd) is sadly sometimes considered the forgotten Bridgerton child, not because her family doesn’t love her, but because, as she does in the series, the sixth Bridgerton sister prefers peace and quiet.

In the book series, it is casually mentioned that Francesca found her husband seven years ago Before we pick up with Penelope and Colin. However, the executive producer Shonda Rhimes and the team decided to combine some of the book’s storylines with Francesca, Colin and Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) everyone is looking for love in season 3. This brings us to…

In the TV series, Francesca becomes Queen Charlotte (Golda Roseuvel) “diamond” of the season and finds herself courted by the Queen’s chosen one, Lord Samadani (Davide Mumeni), as well as by her favourite suitor, John Stirling, Earl of Kilmartin (Victor Alli). (Unfortunately, Queen Charlotte is not a character in the books, which means that the monarch (with her fantastical headdresses) never anoints a “diamond” of any season.)

But luckily for her, she and John find the perfect match in each other and enjoy a small wedding at home, something book readers don’t get to experience. The couple then moves to Scotland, where their story will continue to unfold. We’ll avoid any spoilers about Francesca’s future, but if I am interested in spoilers, his story is expanded in the sixth Bridgerton book, When he was evil.
