Spencer leaves Beverly Hills High School

At the end of All American season 2, Spencer again makes a life-changing decision committing to play his senior year of football at Crenshaw instead of Beverly Hills. Although he has had great success in Beverly Hills, Spencer makes the switch in an effort to save his hometown high school. The board was considering making the school a magnet school, which would not guarantee that Crenshaw kids would receive an education there.

The real Spencer Paysinger did not drop out of Beverly Hills High School.

Spencer has convinced them to hold off on the move because he will transfer there and help raise his profile. Since he is one of the top prospects in the nation, he sells the school on his presence, which can attract more attention, especially as Spencer tries to lead Crenshaw to a state championship.

Billy Baker leaves Beverly Hills for Crenshaw

Billy follows his best player

All American Season 2 proved to be a difficult one for Coach Billy Baker, both personally and professionally. He and Laura Fine-Baker (Monet Mazur) decided to separate, which divided the family, and Billy’s job in Beverly Hills was in turmoil all season. The Boosters tried to overthrow his leadership of the team, and he got in trouble for covering up Asher Adams’ (Cody Christan) steroid use.

After all this, Billy decided to change his life. He agreed to go with Spencer to Crenshaw and become their new head coacha role that was recently left vacant by Corey’s death. Now, he’ll stick with the star player he once plucked from Crenshaw to try to win another state championship in California.

Spencer’s arm wounds haven’t healed

Spencer was shot in season 2 of All American

Spencer’s ability to continue coaching was a major reason Billy moved to Crenshaw, but that could be jeopardized again by Spencer’s arm and health. Although he rehabbed his shoulder during the season so he could be cleared to play in the 7-on-7 league, Spencer hasn’t been completely honest about how he’s feeling. The shoulder is still an issue for him and THE All American The season two finale saw Spencer lose feeling in his right arm again.

The real Spencer Paysinger was never shot in real life.

You won’t be able to hide these persistent problems All American not even in season three, as Olivia Baker (Samantha Logan) saw — which could have lasting implications for the upcoming state championship.

This eventually led to him picking up Simone, who later told him she was pregnant with his child.

All American Introduces New Threat for Season 3

Ruth killed Tyrone

Tyron Looks Serious in All American

THE All American The season two finale also introduces a new antagonist to the series, but one who is a familiar face in Crenshaw. A big storyline in season two is Tyrone’s return after being released from prison and then the multiple plots to kill him. Coop was partly responsible for Tyrone ending up in prison first and foremost created momentum for her murder, with her ready to kill Tyrone herself.

While she didn’t kill Tyrone, the season ends with her sister returning to town and vowing revenge on those responsible. Her eyes are clearly on Coop as he watches her discreetly say goodbye to the James family, so Season 3 of All American I saw Mo (Erica Peeples) following Coop on tour.

For most of the time spent on television, All American was Spencer James’ story. That all changes in season 7, with Spencer leaving as a full-time cast member and others getting a chance to shine. However, the road hasn’t been smooth. As season 2 showed, there were many obstacles, and many of them had nothing to do with Spencer Paysinger’s real life. The shooting that caused the arm problems wasn’t real life, but Spencer James outdid them in the series and ended up in college.

Billy, who left to be with Spencer, didn’t fare as well. Billy had great success as Spencer’s coach, and even became the principal of South Crenshaw High, which means his move was worth it. He went from having people doubt him and keep him under control to taking on a bigger role in the lives of the students than he ever had before. Unfortunately, his team ended up in a bus accident, and Billy died while saving a student.

All American Season 2 also showed the ups and downs of Spencer and Olivia’s relationship. This continued for the following seasons, as they broke up and got back together more than once. However, it all ended on a high note in Season 5 when they finally found stability and got married in the Season 5 finale. Things didn’t work out for Jordan and Simone, as they realized that marriage wasn’t right for them. However, Jordan found Layla and they ended up getting married in her place.
