Britney Spears has yet to name a leading lady for his biopic… but those close to the pop star are already making suggestions.
Felicia CulottaBritney’s former assistant and longtime confidante tells Vscek… that he’s so happy to hear the singer’s best-selling memoir, “The Woman in Me,” is about to be published turned into a movieSince she’s such a big part of the reveal, she already has a couple of casting ideas… for Britney AND herself.
To begin with, she thinks Emma Roberts would be a stellar choice for Brit. Emma is best known for her work in the “American Horror Story” franchise … but she was once a child singer and star on Nickelodeon’s “Unfabulous,” which parallels Britney’s roots on “The Mickey Mouse Club.”
Felicia has already decided who she wants to play her: Drew Barrymore he says he could do it!
Emma and Drew aren’t the only A-list stars Felicia is putting on stage… she’s sure of it. Timothee Chalamet It would be a thrilling experience Patrick DeMartinoBy the way, we agree.
Britney and Justin’s relationship has been a key part of the singer’s memoir, as detailed everything from the abortion she had at 19 to their emotional breakup. Felicia was front and center for the drama: she was with BS when she decided to take abortion pills.
According to Felicia, this biopic could be an Oscar contender… especially if the film features Britney’s many hits.
As Vscek previously reported… the big screen adaptation of “The Woman in Me” is being directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Mark Platt for Universal Pictures.
Now the bad news… we’re told Britney has creative control over the script and casting. She has a history of being unhappy with and excluding people in her life — Dried ham, James Lynn, The lynx, Kevin, Safeetc. So don’t assume this film will be completed, because there’s still a long way to go.
