Screen outburstJoe Deckelmeier recently hosted Cox’s panel at FanExpo Chicago (where Screen outburst is a media partner), where Cox was asked if there are any specific comic book storylines fans should check out in preparation for Daredevil: RebornThe actor had to give a very careful answer. He has piqued the attention of a character who can’t wait to introduce the public, and the character sounds like White Tiger. Cox said:
No, I don’t think I can answer that either. But I mean, we don’t follow any of the comics in terms of story. We don’t follow any of them closely, and there are a few reasons for that. One, because if you follow a storyline closely, it becomes a foregone conclusion because everyone knows how it ends. Those of you who saw the leaked trailer from D23 may have noticed a couple of interesting characters that pop up – I didn’t say that, you said that. The trailer has been taken down, so I won’t say anything.
I remember getting those scripts, and the character I’m thinking about in particular right now, I remember when I read it. [story] before I started doing Daredevil in 2014. I always thought it was such a cool storyline and such an interesting character; such an interesting dynamic between the two of them. It was really fun and I’m really excited about it. And there’s a couple of other nice little cameos that pop up.
