Donald Trump Tells Elon Musk Illegal Immigration Saved His Life

Elon Musk AND Donald Trump they’re finally doing it right… the former president is doing a live interview on Elon’s social media platform, X, after a rocky start to the highly publicized event… and they’re focusing on illegal immigration and the attempted assassination.

Trump made Elon laugh when he said… “Illegal immigration saved my life.”

The former president was talking about how a graphic on illegal immigration caused him to turn his head just a little during his July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania… moving his head just enough to avoid being hit by a bullet when Thomas Matthew Crooks they opened fire.

Elon chuckled at Trump’s remark… and Trump has repeatedly said it was a miracle and an act of God that he moved just in time so the bullet grazed his ear. Trump says he would have spoken to Elon from another world if it weren’t for illegal immigration.

Elon and Trump are having a conversation right now about Spaces… late in the game after a series of problems that Musk blamed on a cyberattack… and Elon is singing the praises of legal immigration while Trump is mostly in agreement and criticizing illegal immigrants.

The live audio interview was supposed to begin promptly at 8:00 PM ET, but attendees had trouble engaging in the conversation, and at 8:18 PM Elon attributed the problems to a “massive” denial of service attack.

A few minutes later, Elon said that X had tested his system with 8 million concurrent listeners that morning, apparently without problems, and at 8:27 p.m. ET said he would interview Trump in a smaller space and “release the unedited audio immediately afterward.”

Elon attributed all of this to what he believes is a huge opposition and resistance to Trump.

Ahead of Monday night’s interview, Trump He posted a flurry of tweets on X… first time he’s done it since then August 2023when he published the mug shot from his arrest in Georgia.

Trump was banned from the platform after the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021, when X was known as Twitter. At the time, the Bird app determined that Trump’s posts had incited violence… and his account was shut down.

When Elon I bought Twitter in 2022, he restored Trump’s account …though Trump didn’t post again until his 2023 mug shot was unveiled… instead limiting his social media presence to his own platform, Truth Social.

But, with Elon inviting Trump to have a live conversation, Trump’s account became super active on Monday… posting campaign ads and attacks on his opponent, My life is beautiful.
