  • Luke’s sad fate in the sequel trilogy has drawn universal scorn and criticism from audiences.

Luke SkywalkerThe story in the sequel trilogy has become a divisive issue in Star Wars franchise, though his entire life story is shrouded in absolute tragedy. Luke’s self-exile and eventual demise after his failures with Ben Solo have been hard for many to accept, including the LEGO version of Luke Skywalker. In the latest trailer for the new LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, an alternate version of Luke tells his tragic story in a hilariously metaphorical way.

Mark Hamill reprises his role as Luke Skywalker in the animated miniseries.

In the four-part series, Sig Greebling unearths a powerful artifact called the Cornerstone. After doing so, the entire paradigm Star Wars galaxy is altered. Now Sig, with the help of Jedi Bob, must restore everything to normal. The good guys have become bad, the bad guys are good, and nothing makes sense anymore. Sig decides they should recruit Luke Skywalker to help him, but convincing him to join his cause may prove difficult after telling Luke his true life story.

How old was Luke Skywalker in every Star Wars movie and TV show he appeared in

Luke Skywalker is one of the most iconic Star Wars characters and has appeared in many different titles. But how old was he in each of them?

Luke Skywalker is absolutely hilarious as he tells his life story

As shown in the latest trailer for Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy

In the trailer, Luke Skywalker appears as a typical beach bro living his best life. He has a podracer that he often uses to race others in an aquatic environment. Then we cut to a cantina full of characters as Sig and Jedi Bob try to find the former Jedi. When they do, Luke tries to figure out his story before everything changes, but he doesn’t like it..

So, let’s see if I understand correctly. In your galaxy, my father is mostly evil until he turns good for about 5 minutes and then dies. My nephew betrays me and kills most of my best friends, and I spend decades alone until I use the Force so hard it kills me?

In a monotone voice, Luke tells his story, which is hilarious. In this universe, beach bro Luke is very content with his current situation and seems uninterested in changing his fate. Although he is shocked by the story, we later see in the trailer that Luke has joined their cause using his podracer. How Sig and Bob convinced Luke to help won’t be known until the series comes out, but this scene in the trailer serves as a reminder of how sad Luke’s story has become.

His story has become quite tragic

Thanks to the disappearance and lonely life that the sequel trilogy gave him

The sequel trilogy was not kind to Luke Skywalker, and this meta joke in Rebuild the Galaxy trailer has once again put the spotlight on that topic. After his failure as his nephew’s master and the destruction of his Jedi Academy on Ossus, Luke has isolated himself from the galaxy and severed his connection to the Force.. However, this did not help prevent Han and Leia’s deaths, nor his own. In a final display of his power, Luke launches a projection of himself to battle Kylo Ren across the galaxy, costing him his life.

Unlike his father Anakin, Luke Skywalker’s tragedy was met with near-universal contempt.

This tragedy is a testament to how Disney’s Luke Skywalker story missed the mark. Unlike his father, Anakin, Luke Skywalker’s tragedy was met with near-universal contempt. Luke’s depression was gripped by his failures, which compounded, leading to his isolation and eventual demise. The sadness of his character is as tragic as the story arc itself.leading many to argue that Disney did a disservice to the great character in the sequel trilogy.

Mark Hamill has stated that Disney no longer needs Luke Skywalker. He also said that he has no intention of returning as Luke Skywalker, but that hasn’t stopped him from providing voice work as Luke to discuss his sad story. This meta commentary on his character’s tragic history is one of the many amusing meta moments shown in the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy trailer, which will hopefully allow Hamill to have even more fun in his iconic role.
