Jack Russellformer frontman of rock group Great White, has died.
Jack died Thursday, surrounded by his family… including his wife. Erica Ann and son Matthew Huckoplus his cousins and some friends… according to his band.
Spokesperson for the Russell family KL Doty tells Vscek … Jack died from Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy.
Jack announced his diagnosis last month when he retired from touring… both conditions impair motor skills.
Jack’s band remembers him for his “sense of humor, his extraordinary joie de vivre and his unwavering contribution to rock and roll, whose legacy will thrive forever.”

Jack sang for Great White from 1981 to 1996, when he attempted a solo career. After the release of his first solo album, he returned to Great White until 2001, when the label disbanded.
From there, Jack changed the band’s name to Jack Russell’s Great White… the band involved in 2003 Rhode Island Nightclub fire that killed 100 people.
Jack was 63 years old.
