The eldest daughter of JimBob AND Michelle DuggarThe 19 children of he officially married with Stefano Wissmann On Aug. 15, she thought back to the moment she saw 11 of her siblings, 10 of them younger, walk down the aisle before her.
“By far, I’m the oldest,” admitted Jana, 34. People in an interview published August 15. “So it was discouraging at times. I was just like, ‘What’s going on? Is it me? Do I have a problem?’ I know I’ve prayed about this for years and years and I was definitely like, ‘What’s the problem? Why can’t I just…’ All my siblings, most of them got married in their early 20s.”
THE 19 kids and counting The former student noted that it was sometimes difficult to maintain a positive attitude in finding her soulmate.
“I tried to look on the bright side, but you still long for that person, that person you can spend your life with,” she added. “It’s been hard, but it’s been beautiful, and God has taught me a lot through it all.”
