Olympic basketball players’ dreams have brought some big stars to the gold medal game… and they just saw the United States edge out France.
Mr. Fallon led the circle of famous faces at the event… smiling from the sidelines and even stopping to take a few photos with the French president Emmanuel Macron.
US Olympians past and present, such as the two-time basketball gold medalist Scottie Pippen and trace the star Sha’Carri Richardsonthat he’s taking home a lot of stuff from Paris, was also shouted from the sidelines.
NBA Legend Carmelo Antonio He might also recall his four Olympic appearances (three of which ended in gold and the other in bronze) during the game… cheering on some of his former teammates.
And, Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Low he also showed up at the arena… presumably in town for the closing ceremony and handover of the 2028 Olympics we told you about.

The USA just managed to win 98-87 against France… although the game was much closer than the score. The star center of France Victor Wembanyama he burst into tears after the hard fight.
For the U.S., it’s their fifth consecutive gold medal dating back to the 2008 Redeem Team in Beijing. France’s silver marks the second time in a row they’ve failed to do so.
Four years to go in Los Angeles… and we have a feeling France is coming back with a vengeance.
