Jinx Is On The Run In New ‘Arcane’ Season 2 Preview

Arcane season 2 has made it clear that people are behind Jinx, and fans got a taste of how it will end in the latest clip. The next episode of the League of Legends film adaptation is coming out in a few months, where the Piltover Council has declared war after the events of the season one finale. But it seems that it is not just the elite who are hunting this girl, as there are also those who live in Zaun who have their eyes on her.


In the preview clip titled “The Enemy of My Enemy,” Jinx (Ella Purnell) is seen running away but ends up surrounded by Smeech and his gang. Just before she can be hurt again, the group is stopped by someone who may also have an interest in the girl. Jinx has shown calm throughout the ordeal and does not hesitate to reveal that she was the one who killed Silco.

Next to the clip, Arcane shared a poster on social media, which featured many familiar faces from the Netflix show. In June, Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming season, which teased a duel between the two sisters, as well as a war between the two cities. Additionally, the show announced that it will be releasing a physical Blu-ray steelbook, as well as a limited collector’s edition in October.



What is “Arcane” about?

Arcane is a show based on the popular MOBA game League of Legends by Riot Games, which tells the story of two separated sisters and the power struggles between two cities due to conflicting ideologies. In addition to Purnell, it also starred Hailee Steinfeld, Kevin Alejandro, Jason SpisakAND by Katie Leung.

The show was released on Netflix in November 2021 and has since received a perfect 100 percent rating from critics and a 96 percent average from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. The show has also received numerous awards, such as “Best Adaptation” at The Game Awards, “Best Animated Program” at the Primetime Emmy Awards, and was nominated for “Best Television Production” at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.


Season 2 was announced weeks after the first season aired, due to its success. In support of the show’s production, IGN reported that Riot Games had purchased a “significant, non-controlling stake” in Fortiche Production, the studio behind the show. Unfortunately, Arcane The second season will be the last and it is not known if further spin-offs based on the video game will be released.
