Blake Lively Admits Ryan Reynolds Wrote This Iconic ‘It Ends With Us’ Scene (Exclusive)

Although the It ends with us star also directed the film adaptation of the Colleen Hoover novel, when it comes to the sequel of the book Get started with ushe has someone else in mind for the director’s chair: costar Lively Blake.
“I think there are better people for that,” Justin said. Show tonight at the film’s August 6 premiere. “I think Blake Lively is ready to direct, that’s what I think.”
And despite fan speculation about a rift between the two, the Joan the Virgin the student had nothing but praise for the Gossip Girl actress, who also worked as a producer, explaining that she tried to create a collaborative environment on set for Blake and their castmates Lively Blake, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate AND Isabella Ferrer.
“You can’t sum up Blake’s contribution in one sentence,” he told Today.com in an interview published on August 9, “because his energy and his imprint are all over the film and really, really made it better, from beginning to end.”
