Keke’s mother, Sharon Palmerrecalled her experiences with Schneider in the latest episode of Keke’s podcast, “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer,”

Sharon says… “My honest opinion is that I thought the whole atmosphere on Dan Schneider’s set was very strange, very cult-like. The parents were very private and I honestly thought they all took themselves too seriously.”
Keke starred in her own Nickelodeon show, “True Jackson, VP” from 2008 to 2011… Schneider was not involved with Keke’s show, but was producing three other shows at the time… “Zoey 101”, “iCarly” and “Victorious”.
Of course, Sharon’s story comes on the heels of more serious allegations leveled against Dan in “Quiet on Set,” where he and other adults are accused of misconduct, including sexual harassment and inappropriate jokes directed at minors.

For his part, Dan denied such claims.
He acknowledged that some of the material he wrote at the time was inappropriate, but it is also ‘Quiet on Set’ producers sue for defamation, claiming that they painted him as a predator, which he says is a load of nonsense.
Sharon doesn’t specify which Schneider sets she experimented on, but some of the allegations against him stem from his time on “Zoey 101″… which was filming around the same time Keke’s show was starting.
Even after all this time, Keke says she remembers her mother having a lot to say about Schneider back then, and that she had certain feelings about Nickelodeon in general… and mostly they were bad.
