A piece of Kobe Bryant‘S legacy is no longer on the market… the warmup jacket he wore before his final NBA game just sold at auction, netting the seller a small fortune!
Vscek Sports discovered that the clothes worn by the Black Mamba just before he scored 60 points against the Utah Jazz in April 2016 at Staples Center received 35 bids and officially sold for $336,000.
The jacket, which was compared to photos to verify its authenticity, had been exhibited SCP Auctions blocked since mid-July.
The gold Adidas piece, size XL is awesome… it features purple accents and patches that celebrate historic moments in the history of the Lakers franchise. From their 31 conference titles to their 16 championships, it’s clear why someone dropped a lot of money for the prized possession.
As for how it helped Kobe, it all played a part in his NBA fairytale ending. The legend missed 22 of his 50 field goals that night… while shooting 10-12 from the free throw line.
After the amazing performance… Kobe thanked the fans for their love and support, and hit them with a now iconic phrase: “What else can I say? Mamba out.”
It is not known who received the winning bid… but congratulations on finding the item!
