AND Joan Vass learned this firsthand as she takes on her new role as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette. But as she revealed, following her early exit from The Golden BachelorThe 61-year-old has received private messages from potential suitors that have left him puzzled.
“I had a hard time dealing with that process because they are total strangers,” said Vassos, who had previously competed for My Friend Gerry Turner heart lit The Graduate spinoff told Weekly show on August 14. “I didn’t respond to those very much. Or I’d have cute little conversations and be like, ‘Thanks, that’s so flattering,’ or something like that. But none of them seemed like anything that would really work or that I felt particularly comfortable with. And then some of the DMs were weird.”
In fact, some DMs went NSFW very quickly.
“I’ve gotten dick pics,” he said. “And I’ve gotten people with foot fetishes. They wanted me to send them pictures of my feet and pay me for it. One person offered to buy all the shoes I was wearing. Golden Bachelor. It was scary. My kids were like, ‘Give me your phone, Mom. We’re blocking this.’”
