Antoine is the wealthy owner of the Maison Lavaux perfume house who becomes Emily’s customer and seems fascinated by her. It is later revealed that he has also been having an affair with Sylvie for some time, despite supposedly being happily married.

Antoine is always well put together, suave and charming.. There’s something about him that draws people to his presence, beyond his money, power, and material possessions. There’s always drama and excess when he’s on screen. But he’s ambitious, he knows what he wants, and he’s not afraid to do what it takes to get it. He can also come across as arrogant at times, as if he believes he deserves everything he wants. He’s a stereotypical smarmy businessman on the show who’s so bad he’s good. But that’s what makes him interesting.

9 Camille de Lalisse

Played by Camille Razat

Fans really want to like Camille. She’s sweet, kind, and wants to make something of herself beyond her family’s wealth. But her initial introduction was soured because she was Gabriel’s longtime love when fans wanted to see Emily and Gabriel together. It was clear as soon as Emily and Gabriel met that there was a spark and Camille seemed to just get in the way.

However, she is always sweet to Emily and goes out of her way to be a friend. Her status as a French noble and heir to a champagne company sometimes clouds her judgment, as does her inability to recognize that Gabriel longs for a much simpler life. Despite her seemingly positive and lovable nature, Camille is also a victim of her own privilege..

8 Alfredo “Alfie” Peterson

Played by Lucien Laviscount

Alfie enters season three as a new love interest for Emily. The two seem to get along, although not in a playful way at first. Alfie seems like a perfect match for Emily and they get along great once they start dating. But the constant rumor that Gabriel is for Emily makes fans see Alfie as nothing more than a liability. He’s like the counterpart of Aidan (John Corbett) in Sex and the City: he’s so good to her, yet he still doesn’t seem quite right.

However, he is sarcastic yet serious, funny yet driven, and deeply in love with Emily. Fans love that he and Emily share an inability to speak fluent French, which makes Alfie the person Emily feels most comfortable with. Despite having a demanding job as a banker, however, Alfie seems less career-oriented than Emily, making them either an odd match or a perfect match. Fans haven’t quite figured it out yet.

7 Gabriel

Played by Lucas Bravo

Gabriel is the guy fans want to root for from the start, not just because of his electric chemistry with Emily, but because he seems like a good guy. Despite cheating on his girlfriend Camille with Emily, it’s one half of an old forbidden romance. Only it’s his girlfriend who’s keeping him from following his dreams of opening a restaurant in his small town, not the other way around.

For Emily, Gabriel feels at home on the fan-favorite showdespite being miles away from his real home every time he sees it. As a very talented chef, recognizing how much passion Gabriel puts into his work makes fans love and respect him even more. He is at the center of the love triangle theme on the show, and while he has had a hard time making the right decision in love, fans want him to end up happy.

6 Luca

Played by Bruno Gouery

Every show needs a character to provide some comic relief, and in Emily in ParisThis is Luc. He is a stereotypical Parisian, an eccentric and bizarre character who, together with Julien, form a hilarious duo. While Luc is serious about his job, he is equally serious about enjoying life. He is one of the few people who went out of his way to help Emily when she was a fish out of water at the company.

Luc is the perfect secondary character/friend, the person everyone knows they can count on.What fans love about Luc is that he is unapologetic about who he is and will never be anyone but himself. But he also has secrets and a different side of himself that he seemingly only shares when necessary, like the news that he once dated a famous food critic.

5 Julian

Played by Samuel Arnold

Samuel Arnold from Emily to Paris

Julien is another character who is unapologetic about who he is. He appears arrogant and haughty, often displeased with others who he feels are not on his level. Initially, this included Emily, who he clashed with at first. But eventually, the two became great friends.

Julien is motivated and ambitious, and sees much more potential for himself than in the current job he has.. He loves to gossip and be “one of the girls”, and has an impeccable fashion sense, although sometimes loud and bold. Fully entrenched in the world of fashion and design, Julien is someone who everyone knows will become something big in the future. Although he sometimes seems jealous of Emily, it is mostly because he wants to get the recognition he feels he deserves and have the opportunity to shine.

4 Pierre Cadault

Played by Jean-Christophe Bouvet

Pierre Cadault has brought fans an exclusive line from Emily in Paris: “Ringarde!”, as he called Emily when he first met her. It effectively means that she lacks style and substance and is silly and awkward: her style is basically boring. The eccentric and quirky French designer may seemingly have it all, but fans can also identify with him in a big way. Now that he’s getting older, he’s having a hard time competing with younger designers who know how to appeal to the changing styles of today’s youth. He’s desperate to stay relevant, and he’s deeply insecure.

Yet Cadault steps up for Emily again and again, and she steps up for him. Seeing the relationship blossom between the famous designer and the American girl “Ringarde” is refreshingCadault and his dramatic theatrics, whether trying to come up with a new design or manage a grand opening, are one of the most entertaining parts of the show.

3 Emily Cooper

Played by Lily Collins

The show’s protagonist, Emily, is at the center of every storyline and shines every time she appears on screen. From her elaborate dresses and hats to her retro phone cases, what’s great about Emily is that there’s more to her than meets the eye. She was sent to Paris to work on a big campaign because she’s talented at what she does. She understands the world of social media and what the younger generation wants, but she also has a ton of business savvy.

While others might have run back to the States with their tails between their legs because they couldn’t handle the pressure and being treated like outsiders, Emily did everything she could to stand out. She wanted to prove she deserved it, and she did, earning the respect of even her biggest dissenters. Although she is eccentric and playful, and sometimes even alive for drama, Emily is also a passionate professional. who is driven to do her best for her clients. But she never wants to hurt others in the process and appreciates every person she meets. She cared so much about her boss Madeline (Kate Walsh), in fact, that she couldn’t even bring herself to quit and leave the woman high and dry while she was pregnant, choosing to work two jobs at once so as not to disappoint anyone.

2 My Mindy Chen

Played by Ashley Park

Despite being the heir to a large company in China thanks to her business tycoon father, Mindy has cut ties with her family to pursue her passions. She is desperate to make it as a singer and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty doing what she loves.

She’s also a loyal friend to Emily who goes out of her way to be there for her on more than one occasion, whether it’s with advice, support, or just a shoulder to lean on. While on a journey to figure out her adult life, Mindy is a free spirit who commands every room she’s in.

1 Sylvie

Played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

Despite her hardened attitude and general disdain for most people, as well as her harsh treatment of Emily, there is something magnetic about Sylvie. She is confident, composed, and talented at her job. At times she is bitter and sullen, aloof and angry because people don’t live up to her high expectations. It is rare to see her smile, even rarer to hear her laugh. She is a very cautious person.

But he also has a softer side that only certain people see. As she warms up to Emily, fans are starting to appreciate Sylvie more and more.. There are many layers to Sylvie and many secrets too. She is the nut that everyone wants to crack because of her air of mystery that makes her compelling to watch. Sylvie may not be the nicest person at times.
