However, in response to speculation about behind-the-scenes editing of the film, an insider close to the situation told E! News, “There are often multiple cuts during the post-production process and that’s the nature of post-production. And everyone was in complete agreement that the final cut of the film was the best version of the film.”
However, there were a handful of other moments at the film’s premiere that caught fans’ attention. During a red carpet interview with ExpirationJenny, who plays Justin’s sister in the film, dodged a question about what it was like working with the actor-director.
“It’s so intense,” Jenny told the publication in response to the inquiry. “I found myself thinking, ‘I really wish I had just one job at a time.’ In fact, I often felt that way, like I really enjoyed writing and being a writer was special, like, yeah. I looked around and thought, ‘I’m only good at acting.'”
Justin, for his part, has ruled out the possibility of directing a potential spin-off of the film, or an adaptation of It starts with us, during a red carpet interview.
“I think there are better people for that,” he told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere. “I think Blake is ready to direct, that’s what I think.”
