YG Organizes Peace March Between Rival Gangs

YG…make peace over a hearty meal… organize a walk to end years of conflict between rival gangs in Compton and break bread, or in this case, sandwiches.

The rapper led Sunday’s truce and march… joined by members of the Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus gangs, family members and children, as they walked through the streets of Compton.

During the walk, YG stopped for lunch at Tam’s Burgers… bringing the entire team into the little shop with the music blasting and the rapper even showing off some of his dance moves.

YG went to the store for a bite to eat… and he wasn’t the only one: many protesters ate alongside the rapper.

The walk began at Gonzales Park, a local hangout, where YG posed for photos… with several attendees running in and out of frame to get their photo taken with the star.

We’re told this was more than just a symbolic gesture… with YG helping to facilitate a long-term dialogue between the two sides, recently convincing both to come to the negotiating table.
