The big picture
- Joe Goldberg’s chilling return to New York marks the final season of the widely beloved thriller
You
. - In season four, Joe adopts a new identity in London before returning to his roots in New York.
- The series’ most chilling season promises to deliver a satisfying conclusion on Netflix.
Close the windows and doors because the last season of You is officially over. Netflix’s most beloved and gripping serial killer thriller, starring Penn Badgley as the elusive assassin Joe Goldberg, has wrapped production, the streaming giant announced on X.
The season will mark Joe’s return to New York City in a chilling nod to “back to where it all began.” This will be the first time viewers have seen him in the Big Apple since he went on the run after capturing, caging, and ultimately disposing of his first victim Beck in season one, after she attempted to escape from his captivity.
This comes hot on the heels of the show’s most chilling season yet, Season 4, which saw Joe take to the streets of London and adopt a new identity as a college professor. His new adventures saw Joe find himself at the centre of a special mystery that – spoiler alert – led him to discover it was him.
